The National Library of Israel (NLI) is the prime institution of national memory for Israelis of all backgrounds and faiths, and the worldwide Jewish community. It is responsible for collecting, preserving, and making accessible the cultural and intellectual heritage of the Jewish people, the State of Israel, its people, communities, and the region across the ages.
