The Boys were a group of orphaned Holocaust survivors brought over to England following the war. Many were taken to an absorption centre in the Lake District. Among them was Ben Helfgott, brother of Mala Tribich, as well as Rabbi Dr Samuel Landau’s maternal grandparents.
Joined by award-winning children’s author, Tom Palmer, who recently published a book for young people about the Boys, Mala speaks about being connected to that group as well as recounting some of her own journey. Rabbi Landau facilitates and shares reflections of being a 3rd generation survivor of the Boys.
